In the month of may in 2004, Air France and KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) formed a merger. The combination of the French flag carrier (Air France) and the Dutch flag carrier (KLM Royal Dutch Airlines) birthed a new airline referred to as Air France KLM.

Check in at Airport
You can check in at the airport on the day of your flight’s departure up until your flight’s Check-In Deadline: choose your seat and receive your boarding pass. It is necessary for boarding the aircraft.
Starting from 30 hours before your flight’s departure, you can get checked in for your flight. During check-in, you are free to choose your seat. You’ll then receive your boarding pass. It is necessary for boarding the aircraft. You can also print your baggage tag.
Air France Nigeria Baggage Allowance
Air France offers the following baggage allowances for flights to and from Nigeria:
La Première class – 3 pieces of checked baggage, maximum weight of 32 kg, 2 carry-on bags and 1 accessory not exceeding 18 kg.
Business class – 2 checked baggage pieces, maximum weight of 32 kg, 2 carry-on bags, and 1 accessory no more than 18 kg.
Premium economy class – 2 pieces of checked baggage, maximum weight of 23 kg, 2 carry-on bags, and 1 accessory no more than 18 kg.
Economy class – 2 pieces of checked baggage, maximum weight of 23 kg, 1 carry-on bag and 1 accessory not exceeding 12 kg.
Dimensions of checked baggage should not exceed 158 cm (length + width + height) and hand baggage of 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm.
Flying Blue by Air France
Flying Blue is Air France’s frequent flyer program. Like many other loyalty programs, you get to experience additional value compared to the average customer in terms of flight services when subscribed to the program.
Membership into the program is free. The program is divided into Explorer, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Explorer is the basic level which is attained upon entry into the program. Each Flying Blue level gets you different benefits.
The more you travel, the more XP (Experience Points) you gain. These allow you to reach higher levels and enjoy the perks that go along with them. The experience points are to be gained within a specified period of time to progress to a higher level.
